I too despise politics but realize it is a necessary evil in our society.

In addition to mundane actions and a bit of reflective magic, I'm also planning on doing some work to allow those in the seats of power to see the truth and return to the roots of their mandate ... to act with honor and dignity for the betterment of all who live in this country.

One doesn't have to use harmful magic to counter bullies, but I'm not adverse to that either if the need arises. ;)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6786474119988979465.post-49397062437652069862011-08-04T10:46:39.460-04:002011-08-04T10:46:39.460-04:00Excellent post! I think you made it very clear that while "they have chosen to throw down the gauntlet first, and in order to preserve our First Amendment rights, someone must have the guts to pick it up," those that do pick it up should be careful to avoid simply throwing it back at them. I've been working on a past that'll be at the Hail Columbia blog for a bit trying to formulate some of my own thoughts on this matter so it was a joy to "hear" yours. Because my personal path does not have a 'harm none' adage (other than of course karmic backlash) I wonder if from the perspective of a path that does, would reflective work be against that? If one were to do a working that reflected someone's intentions and energy back on them would it be violating the 'harm none' edict for the person who is reflecting or would it then place the karmic buck squarely at the senders door? Logically to me (and that is of course qualified in that I do not have any personal experience with these particular paths) it would seem that reflective magick (I never know how to spell that in these kind of discussions, lol) would be almost a 'harm' and intent zero for the caster. The intent of the sender determines what type of energy is being bandied about. You could just as easily be reflecting good energy as bad, it is entirely up to what the sender decides to send against you. Maybe it might be possible to find a common ground within the community to put forth some kind of location based reflection magick for the 50 days. People can sign up to put a reflective shield around their area and bounce back whatever the NAR are shooting at free will of those in our purview. It would be like having Cindy Jacobs shoot herself with her own bazooka. The Travelerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07571659015292953033noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6786474119988979465.post-74503791953123159722011-08-04T09:39:16.711-04:002011-08-04T09:39:16.711-04:00Great post!!Great post!!LaTricehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16602447440920173970noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6786474119988979465.post-17916132939231575722011-08-04T08:25:41.629-04:002011-08-04T08:25:41.629-04:00Very well done.Very well done.Flamehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08863477772493881577noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6786474119988979465.post-68055756323375764892011-08-04T06:40:10.162-04:002011-08-04T06:40:10.162-04:00Love this post, Excellent words! Standing up to them, encouraging letter writing and voting, protesting- none of those harm anyone, other than by making the Dominionists unhappy.

Great post, BTW!Laurie Brownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01815630032743705939noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6786474119988979465.post-28601886217783432042011-08-03T14:10:32.472-04:002011-08-03T14:10:32.472-04:00@ Pagan Besom-I personally have a re-occurring fan...@ Pagan Besom-I personally have a re-occurring fantasy of shooting Cindy Jacobs in the face with my imaginary bazooka.
